Deep Clean / 特殊清掃

**Someone died here. Your job is to make it disappear.**

You are a specialist cleaner. When a tenant dies alone and nobody notices for weeks, the apartment becomes a *jiko bukken* - a "stigmatized property" nobody wants to rent. You clear it out so the next family can move in.

Pick up the rubbish. Scrub what's left on the floor. Read what the last tenant left behind. And every room you finish makes the place a little less willing to let you go.

**What you'll do**

- Walk through five full apartments, from a 1K to a 3LDK - entrance, kitchen, tatami room, washroom, bath, toilet. Every door opens and closes.

- Read notes and belongings, and learn the Japanese customs behind them (*morishio*, *butsudan*, *tatami* ...).

- When the last stain is gone, the front door unlocks. **Then you have to walk out.**

**What's in the dark**

- You can't fight it. You can't kill it. You can only stay away.

- A knock from an empty room. A tap that turns itself on. Footsteps that stop when you stop. A figure at the edge of your light.

- **If it touches you, it's over.** Back away, wait, and let it go.

- No gore, no bodies. Just low light, quiet rooms, and things that are slightly wrong.
